"No asthma, no bad back, and my heart is in amazing condition." He said, smiling hopefully before grabbing Bucky and pulling him into a tight hug. A hug that he never would have been able to give before.

When he pulled back he was still smiling, sheepish and a bit shy but definitely happy. "I know you're upset Buck. You told me not to do anything stupid and I went and did something stupid anyways, but it turned out good." He cleared his throat, ducking his head.

"You know...all it woulda took was another bad winter, Buck. That last time I got sick..." He sighed, biting his lip and rubbing his neck. "I'm not gonna die from getting sick now. I can have a longer, fuller life."
